A New Player’s Progress Plan for Call of Anime

The first goal in Call of Anime is not to win every battle. It is to make a simple progress loop you understand: recharge your castle, choose a useful upgrade, fight at an appropriate monster tier, complete the daily tasks that fit your session, and join an alliance when you are ready to coordinate. This plan keeps each system connected, so new players can learn without burning resources on every available action.

Player battles are more useful once your castle, weapons, and routine are ready.

Phase one: make your castle reliable

Your castle is the part of the game that supports every session. Early on, make a habit of checking recharge status before committing to a battle. Then pick a single near-term upgrade goal. A useful goal is one that changes what you can do next—more capacity, access to content, or a stronger setup—not simply the most visible upgrade on the screen.

Avoid trying to raise every option at the same time. That makes progress difficult to measure and can leave you without enough points for the upgrade that actually unlocks the next step. If you are unsure, leave enough resources for a recharge and your next planned battle before spending on a new weapon or defensive option.

Phase two: use monsters as a progress test

Monster battles are a dependable solo activity. The current system has bronze, silver, and gold monster tiers, with increasingly demanding encounters. Titles unlock access to the higher tiers, so success in a lower tier is a meaningful checkpoint rather than a reason to skip ahead immediately. A player who can clear a tier consistently learns more from the next tier than one who repeatedly attempts a battle that their current setup cannot finish.

Use a monster session to answer practical questions: Does the current weapon path feel strong enough? Do you need a castle recharge before another fight? Is an upgrade giving a noticeable benefit? Because monster battles do not require another player to be online, they are a safer place to check readiness than a rushed map fight.

Move up because you are ready, not because you are impatient. Consistent clears and sensible upgrades create more progress than repeated losses at the highest unlocked tier.

Phase three: turn daily tasks into a routine

Daily tasks give structure to a short session. They cover logins, castle recharges, monster defeats, wars, forts, weapon upgrades, prestige, ads, and chat. The efficient approach is to look for overlap. A normal session might begin with a recharge, continue with monsters, include a planned weapon upgrade, and end by checking alliance chat for a fort opportunity. That advances several areas without treating any one reward as more important than your overall plan.

Read our Daily Tasks and Weapon Upgrades guide for a fuller routine. It explains why an unfinished task is sometimes the right decision: do not enter a risky player war or fort action purely to clear a checklist.

Phase four: join an alliance with intent

An alliance gives your progress a shared purpose through chat, rankings, forts, and wars. Before joining, look for recent activity rather than only a large roster. Once you join, introduce yourself, say when you normally play, and ask what the group needs. A player who can reliably defend a fort during a known window is more useful than one who attacks at random.

You do not have to be the strongest player to contribute. Clear communication, consistent daily activity, and a willingness to follow the target announced in chat are the habits that make an alliance easier to coordinate.

Phase five: choose PvP and forts deliberately

Player battles and forts add uncertainty, which is why they are most satisfying after the first four phases are in place. When you see a player target, consider your current readiness and whether an alliance objective needs attention first. When a fort is active, check the team plan before spending actions. Forts reward an alliance that can capture and then defend, not only one player who arrives first.

For the current fort roles, defence considerations, and a checklist before joining a push, read Forts, Defence, and Alliance Rewards.

Your first five-session checklist

  1. Session 1: Learn the menus, recharge, and choose one castle goal.
  2. Session 2: Complete monster battles at a comfortable tier and note where your setup feels weak.
  3. Session 3: Review daily tasks before playing; complete the ones that overlap with your normal routine.
  4. Session 4: Plan one weapon upgrade and keep enough resources for the next useful action.
  5. Session 5: Join or check in with an alliance, then take one coordinated action if the group has a clear objective.

Ask for help with useful context

If you get stuck, do not just send “my battle failed.” Include your player name, device type, which activity you were attempting, and a screenshot when possible. That gives the support team enough context to help. Contact call.of.anime.war@gmail.com, or start with the broader Official Player Guide.
